Navaratri is one of the main Hindu festivals. Navaratri means’ Nine nights, when Durga Maa is worshiped every year.  Navaratri is celebrated in the Shukla Paksha month on the first day. The navratras falling in the Shukla paksh of Ashwin month is known as Shardhiya Navaratri and it is the time Durga mother is worshipped for her nine different powers.

This year, the Navaratri starts from September 21 and till 30 September.  It will include following the nine days pooja of Mother Shailpuri, Brahmacharini, Chandrakanta, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, Siddhadri and Dasamati, Dussehra, right from 21st to 30 September, 2017.

Navratri colors 2017: In this year  Navratri just like previous Navratri days all girls and women love to wear the color that is meant for the day as Navratri color. This is among Gujarat and  Maharashtra ladies. You must have seen that in dandiya and garba women and girls love to wear a different color on each day.
